The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), a department under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, is preparing to dispatch approximately 100 female nursing professionals to a healthcare organization in Malaysia.
According to an official, the demand for female nursing staff in Malaysia has been steadily increasing, owing to the high caliber of healthcare professionals already employed in various hospitals across the country.
The OEC has announced vacancies for interested candidates, specifying the required qualifications and experience for the roles. Candidates must hold a diploma in nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or a post-RN qualification from a recognized institution. Additionally, candidates must be registered with the Nursing Council and possess a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a hospital setting. Preference will be given to candidates with specialized post-basic training in areas such as Operation Theatre (OT) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and pediatrics. Applicants should not exceed 45 years of age.
The selected candidates will receive a basic monthly salary ranging from 3,000 to 4,500 RM, along with various allowances such as a Specialized Allowance, General Nursing Allowance, Degree Allowance, and Post Basic Allowance.
The employment contract includes provisions for annual salary reviews, performance-based bonuses, and leave entitlements. Employees will also benefit from medical insurance coverage, hostel accommodation, subsidized meals, and uniform allowances.
