Islamabad, Oct 16: Pakistan Shaheens Captain Bold Statement on India
The skipper of Pakistan Shaheens, Muhammad Haris, has revealed something shocking regarding his team’s October 19th ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup match versus India A.
According to Haris, talking about their impending game against their bitter rivals is not allowed in the team’s locker room. The captain clarified that the suspension was put in place to keep players from experiencing extra pressure leading up to the much-awaited game.
“It is not appropriate to discuss India in the changing room. We don’t want to add needless stress to players’ already stressful situations by making them worry about playing India,” Haris stated.
In order to relieve pressure on his team, the wicketkeeper is relying on his most recent experience leading during the Champions One-Day Cup.
Additionally, he emphasized that the Pakistan Shaheens have distinct strategy for each of their opponents and are committed on defeating all of them, not just India.
Our plans are coming together well. We’re not only focused on India, but also on important games against nations like the UAE and Oman,” Haris continued.
In their last group game, the Pakistan Shaheens will play Oman on October 21 and UAE on October 23. October 25 will mark the semi-finals for the top two teams from each group, with the final set for October 27.
