Islamabad, Feb 26: Pakistan’s IT industry made a strong impact at Web Summit Qatar 2025, a prestigious global technology conference, with a dedicated Pakistan Pavilion showcasing the country’s innovative digital landscape.
This milestone event was officially inaugurated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar, Lt Gen (retd) Muhammad Aamer, alongside PSEB CEO Abu Bakar and P@SHA Senior Vice Chairman Umair Nizam. The initiative, spearheaded by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), highlights Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its global presence in the IT sector.
Umair Nizam emphasized that Qatar is emerging as a crucial market for Pakistani IT firms, thanks to the strategic efforts of the Ministry of IT & Telecom (MoITT), PSEB, and P@SHA. A delegation of 10 leading IT firms and over 30 industry representatives from Pakistan participated in the summit, showcasing cutting-edge software solutions, IT services, and innovative technology products. Their presence reinforced Pakistan’s growing reputation as a dynamic hub for digital services and technological advancements.

At the inauguration, Ambassador Muhammad Aamer underscored the strength of Pakistan’s IT sector and its immense potential for international collaborations.
