Islamabad, Dec 14: Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim have withdrawn from international cricket for the second time after he had done the for the first time in November-2023. It’s not the first time, though, that Imad Wasim, a cricket team of Pakistan, has declared himself out of international cricket forms.
The all-rounder had previously declared retirement from international cricket at the end of the year 2023 but he had withdrawn the statement earlier this year for the T20 World Cup 2024.
Last, Imad Wasim appeared for Pakistan in the T20 WC game against Ireland in June after which he was only involved in domestic and franchise cricket.
Imad Wasim announces retirement: the very funny situation we have been seeing several times now. To the social media platform X, Imad Wasim posted a lengthy message, which reads as he retires from international cricket.
To this the all-rounder was quick to note that he certainly will continue playing for domestic and franchise cricket. He thanked the fans from Pakistan for their support during his ‘peak as well as during the phase of ‘low’.
To all fans & supporters: I have seriously and contemplating this issue for over two months and the result is that I have to pull out of international cricket.
Serving my country Pakistan at the international level is the privileged I have ever had the opportunity to be part of and each moment of carrying the green colors has been unique.
