Islamabad, June 13, 2025: Pakistan on Friday strongly condemned the Israel strikes on Iran, calling the attack an “unacceptable” violation of international law and a threat to regional peace and stability.
Foreign office in an official statement expressed deep concern over what it described as a clear breach of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, saying the Israeli assault was “unjustified and contrary to the principles of the United Nations Charter.”
“Pakistan strongly condemns Israel’s military strikes inside Iranian territory. These actions are a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter,” the FO spokesperson said. “Iran, as a sovereign nation, has every right to defend itself under Article 51 of the UN Charter.”
The statement further urged the international community to take immediate notice of the situation and prevent any further military action that could trigger wider conflict.

In addition, President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned the blatant Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. “The Israeli military strikes are a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran, and amount to total disregard of the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law”, he said.
The President conveyed his deepest sympathies to the brotherly people of Iran on the loss of lives in this attack. He also urged the international community and the United Nations to hold the aggressor accountable and take immediate action to prevent the situation from further escalation.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also condemn the Israeli action. In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Dar wrote:
“Strongly condemn unjustified Israeli attacks on Islamic Republic of Iran which is a brazen violation of Iran’s sovereignty. This abhorrent action has shaken foundations of international law as well as conscience of humanity, and gravely undermines regional stability and international security. Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Government and the people of Iran.”
The Israel strikes on Iran, described by Israeli officials as a “defensive measure,” reportedly led to casualties among senior military figures and civilians. This matter is a developing story, with regional and global powers closely monitoring potential.
