Islamabad, Aug 20: Pakistan successfully launched a practice launch of the Shaheen-II surface-to-surface ballistic missile on Tuesday.
According to a news release from Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the training launch was intended to train soldiers, validate numerous technological parameters, and assess the performance of multiple sub-systems integrated for increased precision and enhanced survivability.
Senior officials from Army Strategic Forces Command, Strategic Plans Division, and scientists and engineers from strategic organizations saw the training launch today, according to the statement.
The scientists who contributed to this historic accomplishment were recognized for their technical expertise, devotion, and commitment by the Director General Strategic Plans Division. The scientists and engineers were commended on their accomplishment by the president, prime minister of Pakistan, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and chiefs of services.
