The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed a T20 tri-nation series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan from November 17 to 29, with matches set to be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

The tournament will begin on November 17 in Rawalpindi with Pakistan facing Afghanistan, followed by Afghanistan taking on Sri Lanka on November 19. This will also mark Afghanistan’s first T20 International appearance on Pakistani soil.

The series will then move to Lahore, where five matches, including the final, will be played at Gaddafi Stadium on November 29. PCB officials said the tri-series would serve as crucial preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup, providing Pakistan with competitive exposure against strong regional sides.

“This tri-series is a great opportunity to prepare for the T20 World Cup. Hosting quality teams like Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will give us competitive match experience in home conditions,” PCB Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed Syed said.
