Islamabad, Aug 11, 2025: Pakistan tobacco exports and related product sales touched Rs. 52 billion in the financial year 2024, showing a sharp jump of Rs. 30 billion from the Rs. 22 billion recorded in FY2023.
Official figures show the country earned $183.80 million from tobacco exports and its by-products in FY2024, compared to $77.61 million in FY2023 and $79.82 million in FY2022.
While revenues saw strong growth, the Ministry of Finance reiterated that tobacco and related products remain harmful to human health. The sale of these products in Pakistan still requires health warnings on their packaging.

There is no export ban on tobacco or its by-products. The ministry confirmed that customs authorities provide the same export facilitation for tobacco exports as they do for other goods.
