Islamabad, July 2, 2025: Pakistan trade deficit is increased by 9 percent from $24.104 billion in FY24 to reach $26.27 billion during the concluding financial year i.e. FY25, as per figures released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
Exports during FY25 add up to $32 billion, marking a 4.7 percent rise compared to exports worth $30.67 billion noted in FY24.
 Imports increased by 6.6 percent, climbing to $58.38 billion in FY25 from $54.78 billion recorded in FY24.

In June, exports stood at $2.54 billion, reflecting a 0.6 percent dip compared to the same month last year and a 4.8 percent decline from the prior month.
Imports for the month reached to $4.86 billion, showing a 2 percent decrease year-on-year and a 7.1 percent drop month-on-month. Furthermore, the Pakistan monthly trade deficit stood at $2.56 billion.
