Islamabad, Oct 2: Pakistan Weather Forecast, PMD Predicts Hot and Dry Conditions Nationwide. According to a weather forecast issued by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), most of the nation will have hot, dry weather in the upcoming days, with isolated showers expected in select places.
The PMD predicts that the majority of Punjab’s districts, Islamabad, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) would likely continue to be hot and dry.KP’s highest altitudes may get partially overcast skies. While much of Balochistan is expected to remain hot and dry, regions like Barkhan, Awaran, and Khuzdar may see gusty winds, thunderstorms, and spotty showers.
Most of the country is forecast to experience hot, dry weather from September 30 to October 6, 2024.Parts of Kashmir are forecast to get isolated showers and thunderstorms on October 4, while upper KP, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and central and southern Punjab are expected to see similar weather on October 5.
Although there is still a chance of sporadic showers and thunderstorms in KP, Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, the hot and dry weather will persist by October 6. The PMD predicts partially cloudy skies and hot, muggy weather in Karachi for the next 24 hours.
