Islamabad, Nov 4: Pakistani Airline Launches Direct Flights to Saudi Arabia with New Weekly Service
Weekly flights from Islamabad to Riyadh have been launched by Air Sial, and flights from Lahore to the Saudi capital are soon to follow.
Air Sial said in a news release on Sunday that the Pakistani airline has started operating two weekly flights from Islamabad to Riyadh.
The administration also disclosed that there will soon be flights from Lahore.
In addition, Pakistan’s Welfare Attaché, Rana Muhammad Masoom, officially opened Air Sial’s regional office in Riyadh on Thursday.
The ceremony was attended by the airline’s regional and national executives as well as members of the community.
To commemorate the launch of these weekly flights from Riyadh to Islamabad, there was a cake-cutting ceremony at the occasion.
There will soon be flights to Lahore and other locations, it was also announced.
The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry established Air Sial, a significant private airline in Pakistan, in 2020 to improve air travel alternatives to and from Sialkot, the important industrial center of Punjab.
The airline has a fleet of Airbus A320s that are up to date.
Every year, thousands of people from Pakistan visit Saudi Arabia for work and to do the Umrah pilgrimage in Madinah and Makkah.
In order to promote religious tourism and deepen relations between the two allies, numerous Pakistani airlines offer direct, reasonably priced flights to Jeddah, Riyadh, and other Saudi destinations.
