In compiling the overall Impact Ranking for 2024, which assessed 2,152 universities across 125 countries/regions, Times Higher Education has named Western Sydney University in Australia as the top-ranked institution for the third consecutive year. Following closely behind are the University of Manchester in the UK and the University of Tasmania in Australia, jointly occupying the second position in the rankings. Pakistan is represented by 89 universities in the 2024 THE University Impact Ranking, with Comsats University Islamabad securing the top position among Pakistani institutions, ranking between 201 and 300.
