On the special instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan has dispatched humanitarian aid for Gaza, which successfully landed at El-Arish International Airport, Egypt.

The consignment was formally received by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt, Aamir Shouket, who conveyed Pakistan’s appreciation to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and local authorities for ensuring a smooth transfer of relief goods. Senior Egyptian officials, including North Sinai’s Deputy Governor General Asim, praised Pakistan’s consistent support during the crisis.

Highlighting Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity, Ambassador Aamir Shouket reaffirmed that additional consignments of humanitarian assistance are already on the way and will be handed over in close coordination with Egyptian partners.

According to official data, Pakistan has so far dispatched 21 consignments carrying over 2,027 tons of humanitarian aid for Gaza, including essential food and medical supplies. The recent chartered aircraft carried 100 tons of relief items such as flour, ready-to-eat meals, cooking oil, jam, and fruit cocktails, reflecting Pakistan’s strong commitment to the Palestinian people.

The relief operation has been organized jointly by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Al-Khidmat Foundation, with supplies being formally transferred to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society for delivery into Gaza.

Earlier shipments were also sent in response to the worsening humanitarian crisis, where thousands of Palestinians face acute shortages of food, medicine, and shelter due to continuous Israeli aggression.

Pakistan’s ongoing humanitarian efforts underline its brotherly bond with Palestine and its determination to stand by the people of Gaza in this critical hour.
