In Chunian, international kabaddi player Nasser Pahlwan was shot in the head and killed during a robbery resistance. According to police, Nasser Pahlwan, along with other players, was returning home last night from Haveli Lakha in a carry van when three armed robbers on motorcycles opened fire on the vehicle within the limits of Mai Rabu, Police Station Allahabad.
A bullet hit Nasser Ullah alias Nasser Pahlwan in the head, and he succumbed to his injuries while being taken to Lahore.
According to the victim’s brother, Mudassir, Nasser Pahlwan had represented Pakistan in various international kabaddi matches, including the Pakistan-India kabaddi match.

He was a resident of Khudian and the father of three children. Police have registered a case and shifted the body to the hospital for post-mortem.
