Kalash Valley Development Authority (KVDA) has launched a satellite phone and Wi-Fi service in Bamborait Valley to improve communication for both locals and tourists. The move is aimed at promoting tourism by ensuring faster and more reliable connectivity in the scenic region.
The facility also includes camping pods while residents have been given one month of free internet and satellite access as part of the initial launch.
Speaking to reporters, KVDA Director General Minhasuddin said the satellite phone service would not only help the local community but also make it easier for visitors to stay in touch with their families. Tourists can now instantly share their experiences, cultural encounters and breathtaking views of the Kalash valley with their loved ones.
