Islamabad, Aug 12, 2025: The Parliamentary Secretary for Communications, Gill Asghar Khan, announced in the National Assembly on Monday that a budget of Rs. 100 billion has been earmarked in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the Karachi-Chaman road project for the fiscal year 2025–26.
Responding during the question hour, he emphasized the government’s commitment to advancing all 72 priority ventures identified by the National Highway Authority (NHA) nationwide.
He highlighted that the government’s strategy focuses on overcoming administrative, financial, land acquisition, and technical challenges to ensure these projects are completed within the stipulated deadlines.
Feasibility studies and route adjustments are currently underway on key infrastructure developments, including the M-9 and M-10 motorways.

Mr. Khan assured the assembly that every one of the 72 prioritized projects would reach completion on schedule,Karachi-Chaman road with particular attention dedicated to enhancing infrastructure in Balochistan, reinforcing the government’s focus on regional connectivity and development.
