As Pakistan readies for the second T20 International (T20I) against England in Birmingham.
Babar Azam, the team’s captain has confirmed his batting position at number three. Mohammad Rizwan is slated to open the innings partnering either Usman Khan or Saim Ayub.
The middle order boasts formidable hitters such as Fakhar Zaman, Azam Khan, who will also handle wicketkeeping duties along with Iftikhar Ahmed and all-rounder Imad Wasim. This lineup provides a sturdy platform for scoring runs and accelerating the innings as needed.
Leading Pakistan’s pace attack will be Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah. With Mohammad Amir possibly sidelined due to injury Haris Rauf returning from his own injury spell may get the opportunity to prove his fitness and gain crucial match experience.
