Islamabad, Mar 8, 2025: The Embassy of Palestine recently organized a special reception to honor two young Pakistani siblings, Ubaydah Al Fiddhah Hafiah (11) and Ghulam Bishar Hafi (13), for their unwavering commitment to advocating for the children of Gaza.
Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Zuhair Zaid, extended heartfelt appreciation to the siblings, commending their remarkable courage and solidarity with Palestine.
In an official letter, he lauded their efforts as a profound symbol of justice and compassion.
Expressing his emotions, Dr. Zaid stated, “I find myself deeply moved by your bravery, sincerity, and the immense kindness you have demonstrated.”
He emphasized that their advocacy, though seemingly small in scale, carries an immeasurable impact.
He further described their unwavering commitment as a bond that transcends borders, reinforcing the strong connection between Pakistan and Palestine.
Dr. Zaid acknowledged their ability to transform sorrow into strength, despair into hope, and silence into a resounding voice that demands justice.
He praised their efforts, noting that their words, though written by young hands, reflect wisdom and depth beyond their years.
Their peaceful activism, centered on love and truth rather than aggression, stands as a beacon of hope in challenging times.
“Your voices have merged with the cries of the oppressed,” Dr. Zaid wrote, affirming that their relentless advocacy shines as a light of humanity amid adversity.
He reassured them that their message of sacrifice and justice would continue to resonate globally. “From the bottom of my heart, I thank and honor you.
Your message will inspire millions for generations to come,” he concluded.
During the ceremony, the ambassador made an emotional declaration, stating that from that moment onward, he would consider Ubaydah and Ghulam Bishar as his own children alongside his five biological ones.

Their father and mentor, Prof. Dr. Aurangzeb Hafi, shared that the ambassador highlighted Palestine’s deep connection with the siblings, recognizing their petitions and protest campaigns against the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.
Dr. Zaid also discussed with Prof. Hafi the urgent need to safeguard and rehabilitate orphaned and injured children from Gaza.
The invitation to the reception followed a documentary screening in Karachi, showcasing the siblings’ unique form of protest—writing notes in blood to highlight the suffering of Palestinian children.
This initiative positioned them among the youngest activists taking a frontline role in advocating for Palestine.
Following the recent ceasefire in Gaza, the siblings reignited their “Voice for the Voiceless” campaign, calling for global intervention to support Palestinian children left orphaned or permanently disabled.
Their activism, which commenced on June 4, 2024, the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, continues to inspire a worldwide movement, proving that even the youngest voices can make a significant impact in the pursuit of justice and humanity.
