Popular actor Aasif Khan, best known for his role as Damad Ji in the hit web series Panchayat, suffered a heart attack earlier this week and was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. The 34 year old actor was admitted following chest discomfort and now reportedly said to be in a stable condition.
Khan took to Instagram to share a emotional update from his hospital bed. Holding the book he stated that he is alive, he also made a statement that; “Life is short, don’t take one day for granted. Everything can change in a moment.”

In his sentimental note, he reflected on the 36 hours he spent staring at the hospital ceiling, calling the experience a an eye opener to take things easy and appreciate life. The post has drawn a surge of love and concern from fans and fellow actors across the country.
