ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 10: Before Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14, Punjab Police’s Animal Rescue Center, or PARC, has revealed a new project. According to a statement made by PARC, mistreating or abusing animals in any way is forbidden and must be reported. You can report any incident of animal abuse by calling 03285804921.
We asked renowned animal rescuer Yair Salman, the guy behind PARC, for his thoughts on the project. Salman disclosed that on August 14, PARC has more in store than just an animal rescue hotline. Senior Punjab Police personnel and PARC will collaborate to launch a comprehensive effort to assist stray animals in the city.
As part of the project, PARC will place bowls for animal feeding and birdhouses throughout Rawalpindi. In order to shield defenseless animals from harm, the campaign will also aid in raising awareness against animal maltreatment.
The campaign will launch tomorrow and run through August 14 of this year. Because of its significance in Pakistani history, PARC decided to start this ad around August 14. Salman thinks this is a good time to offer something new.
Readers are urged to contact PARC at the aforementioned mobile number to report any instances of animal maltreatment or violence.
