The new passport fee payment system in Pakistan has made life easier for people applying for passports.
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has introduced an online platform where applicants can pay their passport fee within a minute, without standing in long queues at the National Bank of Pakistan.
According to officials, citizens can now pay their passport fee through the “Passport Fee Asaan” mobile app or the Paymaster.com.pk web portal anytime and from anywhere. This digital step aims to make the passport issuance process smoother and faster for the public.
To make the payment, users first need to generate a Payment Slip ID (PSID) using the Passport Fee Asaan app—available for both Android and iPhone—or through the Paymaster website.

After that, payments can be made using internet banking, ATMs, Easypaisa, or JazzCash by selecting the 1Bill option and entering “999999” before the PSID number.
Once the online payment is complete, the applicant can visit the nearest passport office to finish the application process without waiting in bank lines.
