PCB suspends NOCs for foreign leagues, bans players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan from playing abroad.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) for players to participate in foreign leagues.
According to PCB sources, Pakistani cricketers will no longer be allowed to play in international leagues. The notification was issued by COO Syed Sameer Ahmed, a day after Pakistan’s defeat in the Asia Cup final.

This suspension directly impacts top players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan and Faheem Ashraf, who were granted NOCs for the Big Bash League. The PCB has instructed all players to focus on domestic cricket instead.
