Islamabad, Aug 23: The first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh is currently underway at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has declared that spectators would be admitted free of charge on the fourth and fifth days of the play. With the intention of giving families and students a chance to cheer on their favorite cricket players and take in the live action, the PCB has made the decision to promote huge attendance at the Bangladesh Test match this weekend.
As part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023–25, the PCB’s plan is anticipated to increase stadium attendance and foster a lively atmosphere. In order to get admitted free of charge, spectators must present their original CNIC or B-form.
There will be multiple enclosures available for fans to choose from, such as the family-only VIP enclosures featuring Imran Khan and Javed Miandad and the premium enclosures featuring Miran Baksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Yasir Arafat. Nevertheless, tickets purchased for the PCB Gallery or Platinum Box are not eligible for the free entrance policy.
The PCB has promised a refund to anybody who have already bought tickets for the fourth and fifth days. If you purchase tickets online, your credit or debit card will be automatically refunded. It is recommended that ticket buyers who bought their seats at Express Centers return their original tickets to the location in order to get a refund.
The PCB has set up a free shuttle bus service that runs on two routes to make it easier for supporters to get to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Route 2 would operate from Government Satellite Town College for Boys, 6th Road, Murree Road, to the Allama Iqbal Park Entrance Gate; Route 1 will run from Aviation Ground, Rawal Road, Murree Road, to the same entrance gate.
