Islamabad, 8 May, 2025: In a significant step towards restoring routine life after weeks of regional tension, PCB has restarted its men’s domestic cricket season.
The decision follows a temporary halt in sporting activities due to escalating conflict in the region that had disrupted everyday life.
According to a statement issued by the PCB, grassroots cricket has officially returned, with tournaments like the Regional Intra-District Challenge Cup and the Inter-District U19 One-Day competition now active again across various cities.
The move is being viewed as an effort to ensure continuity in Pakistan’s cricketing structure, even as the country recovers from a period of uncertainty.
