Islamabad, 12 May,2025: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to resume between May 16 and 18, as preparations intensify to conclude the remaining fixtures of its 10th edition.
Sources close to the matter revealed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in the final stages of confirming the schedule, with an official announcement expected soon.
Ongoing discussions are taking place between the PSL administration and relevant stakeholders, aimed at ensuring a smooth continuation of the tournament.
Although many overseas players had initially travelled to Dubai in anticipation of the league’s resumption, most have since returned to their home countries.

However, efforts are being made to recall the international players and secure their participation for the remaining matches.
If the proposed dates are approved, all six franchises are likely to reconvene in Islamabad by the evening of May 14.
The league had been paused with only eight matches left to play, including the playoffs and final, as rising cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan forced organisers to put the competition on hold.

The ceasefire between the two nations has improved the regional situation, raising hopes for the resumption of both PSL 10 and the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the near future.
As it stands after 27 matches, Quetta Gladiators top the points table, having already qualified for the playoffs. They have secured six victories, suffered two defeats, and had one match abandoned.
Karachi Kings sit second with 10 points from eight games, while defending champions Islamabad United are placed third, also with 10 points, but from nine matches.
Lahore Qalandars are in fourth place with nine points, closely followed by Peshawar Zalmi, who have eight points from nine games.
Multan Sultans, with just one win and eight losses, have already been knocked out of playoff contention.
