Islamabad, 8 May, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday officially announced that remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 have been relocated to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), amid rising tensions with India.
“The PCB today confirms that the remaining fixtures of the HBL PSL X have been shifted to the UAE. As such, the last eight fixtures, which were previously scheduled in Rawalpindi, Multan and Lahore will now be staged in the UAE,” the PCB said in a statement.
The move comes after a high-level meeting between PCB executives, team owners, and players, and follows the postponement of the confirmed match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium just a day earlier.

PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi expressed remorse that Pakistani fans no more will be able to watch matches in their stadiums.
He stated that the board decision of relocating the match is made after India launched a series of drone attacks in Pakistan major cities of Pakistan, including Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Attock, Bahawalpur and Karachi.
“The PCB has always stood by the position that politics and sports need to be kept apart.
However, in view of the extremely irresponsible and dangerous Indian act of targeting the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which was manifestly done to disrupt the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League X, the PCB has decided to shift the remaining matches to UAE.
