Islamabad, Aug 11, 2025: The Peshawar BRT service is set to expand its route to Khyber Road, aiming to make travel to the Judicial Complex faster and more convenient. This decision comes after continuous requests from the legal community for better transport facilities to the courts.

As per an official press release, a meeting was chaired by Peshawar Bar Association President Qaiser Zaman, with attendance from BRT Project Director Zahid Ali Shah, the sessions court administrator, the court’s security officer, Additional Assistant Commissioner Sajjad, and other senior officials.

In the session, Zahid Ali Shah confirmed that the BRT management had approved the route extension in direct response to the Bar Association’s appeal. He highlighted that the move would ease travel for lawyers, paralegal staff, and litigants visiting the Judicial Complex.

To further support passengers, a dedicated BRT stop will be set up at Gate No. 2 of the Judicial Complex, offering direct and hassle-free entry.

Qaiser Zaman thanked District and Sessions Judge Peshawar Inamullah Wazir, the BRT team, and all relevant departments for fulfilling what he called a long-awaited demand of the legal fraternity.
