The Peshawar DI Khan motorway is set to become a game-changer for the southern region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has declared it a flagship initiative that will improve transportation, create employment, and enhance regional trade. Connecting Peshawar to Dera Ismail Khan, the motorway will serve as a major economic corridor.

During a recent high-level meeting chaired by CM Gandapur, officials discussed the execution plan . With a total length of 365 kilometers, the motorway will have six lanes, 19 interchanges, and two tunnels, connecting seven key districts in KP. The project is expected to cost Rs348 billion.

The chief minister directed the finance department to release an initial Rs2 billion for land acquisition. This phase will begin simultaneously from both Peshawar and DI Khan ends to speed up progress.
