Islamabad, Sep 12: MS petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) prices are expected to fall this week due to international oil prices Reduction.
On September 14, 2024, the federal government is anticipated to lower the cost of gasoline and diesel by 12 rupees per liter.
The reduced estimate is based on the fact that global oil prices have dropped to less than $70 per barrel during the past two weeks.
Notably, during the period under consideration, the value of the Pakistani rupee stayed steady at 278.
In light of the aforementioned, it is anticipated that the cost of HSD in Pakistan will soon drop to between Rs. 250 and Rs. 251 per liter. MS prices are predicted to drop to between Rs. 247 and Rs. 248 a liter in the interim.
The government reduced the price of gasoline by Rs. 1.86 per liter to Rs. 259.1 during the preceding two weeks. In the meantime, the cost of a liter of diesel was lowered by Rs. 3.32 to Rs. 262.75.
