Islamabad, Sep 27: Petrol Prices in Pakistan may drop again from Oct 1.
According to sources, while discussions are ongoing, the exact figures for the upcoming price adjustments have not yet been finalized.
Recently, Brent crude oil prices fell by approximately $0.50, settling at about $72.27 per barrel, while US crude oil prices decreased by 37 cents.
This trend presents a positive outlook for Pakistani consumers, indicating potential relief at fuel stations.
Recent Price Adjustments
On September 15, the government announced a reduction in fuel prices effective from September 16. The petrol prices in Pakistan are as follows:
- Petrol: Decreased by Rs10 per litre, bringing the price to Rs249.10 per litre.
- High-Speed Diesel (HSD): Reduced by Rs13.6 per litre, now priced at Rs249.69 per litre.
- Kerosene Oil: Dropped by Rs11.15 per litre, setting the new rate at Rs158.47 per litre.
Consumers are encouraged to remain patient and await official confirmation from the government regarding the new adjustments in petrol and diesel prices. The federal government reviews and modifies fuel prices biweekly, considering international oil price fluctuations, exchange rates, and domestic demand
