Islamabad, Oct 7: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has officially announced the Pakistan women’s football team squad for the upcoming SAFF Women’s Championship 2024, set to take place in Nepal from October 17 to 30. The team is scheduled to depart for Nepal from Islamabad via Dubai on October 12.
Pakistan has been placed in Group A, where they will face arch-rivals India and Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Group B includes hosts Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Bhutan. Pakistan’s campaign will kick off against India on October 17, followed by a group-stage match against Bangladesh on October 20. Both matches are set to be played at 4:45 pm.
