ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 20: A significant fare cut has been announced by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) for flights between Karachi and Jeddah and Madinah. According to a PIA representative, the national carrier has lowered prices by 30% to make travel more affordable for customers.
A one-way trip from Karachi to Jeddah or Madinah costs Rs. 56,000, taxes included, under the updated tariff structure. These days, a round-trip ticket from Karachi to any Saudi city costs Rs. 88,000, including taxes.
A representative for PIA stated that reservations for seats at the discounted price can be made through August 31, 2024. When using these promotional fares, travelers have to finish their journey by September 30, 2024.
The representative added that the new, lower fares are going into effect right now. Many tourists are anticipated to profit from PIA’s fare drop, particularly those who are traveling to the holy cities for Umrah or other religious purposes.
The PIA representative advised visitors to reserve their tickets as soon as possible in order to benefit from these reduced prices, since supplies may be limited. Passengers can visit the official PIA website or get in touch with the PIA booking office closest to them for more information.
