Islamabad, July 30, 2025: According to its audited annual report, PIA Holding Company witnessed a 42.90% growth in its net earnings during the year 2024.
The document highlighted a significant turnaround in the firm’s financial health, with overall losses shrinking by 82% compared to the previous year.
As per the report, PIA Holding earned Rs36.2 billion in 2023. This amount jumped to Rs51.74 billion in 2024, indicating a sharp boost in profitability.
Moreover, the airline managed to bring down its operational losses to Rs15.35 billion in 2024, showcasing an 82% year-on-year decline.

On the downside, the company’s total income experienced a drop of 7.68%. Revenues slipped from Rs259.59 billion in 2023 to Rs239.65 billion in 2024.
The cost of aviation fuel also saw a 22.92% reduction during the same period. However, the company still registered an additional deficit of Rs524.58 million.
