Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has signed an engineering support deal with SriLankan Airlines to strengthen technical collaboration and enhance aircraft maintenance standards.
According to a PIA statement, the national flag carrier will provide engineering and maintenance services to SriLankan Airlines under the agreement, which covers technical support, component repairs, and other specialized services.
PIA officials said the deal reflects growing regional cooperation in aviation and will allow both carriers to benefit from shared expertise, cost efficiencies, and improved service quality. The arrangement is also expected to generate additional revenue streams for PIA’s engineering division, which already serves multiple international clients.
