Islamabad, 22 May, 2025: The Dialysis Centre in Saudi Arabia aims to offer smooth and timely access to critical dialysis care, enabling patients to participate in Hajj rituals without health disruptions.

Authorities from the Madinah Health Cluster explained that this initiative is part of a broader healthcare strategy to ensure that every pilgrim, regardless of medical condition, receives appropriate and efficient treatment during their stay.

This dedicated facility has been integrated into the operations of the King Fahad Kidney Center and is specifically designed to accommodate the unique routines and travel schedules of pilgrims.

By doing so, it minimises the logistical burden typically faced by those requiring regular dialysis treatment.

Advanced Facilities and Expert Staff

Equipped with 13 modern dialysis machines, the unit can perform more than 26 treatment sessions each day.

According to officials, the Dialysis Centre in Saudi Arabia operates under strict medical standards with the support of a specialised team of doctors and nurses, ensuring safety and quality throughout the treatment process.

The Madinah Health Cluster also coordinated in advance with healthcare teams accompanying pilgrims.

Medical reports were collected prior to the journey to ensure that treatment could be arranged immediately upon the patients’ arrival, eliminating unnecessary waiting times and reducing travel-related fatigue.
