Islamabad, Sep 24: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has been tasked with creating a top-notch international club in Islamabad to bring in money and offer first-rate facilities to Pakistanis living abroad.
As per the facts, the CDA has been directed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to guarantee that the project complies with global standards, hence augmenting the economic progress and visual allure of the metropolis.
At an estimated cost of PKR 27 billion, the proposed club will provide abroad Pakistanis with privileged memberships. 10,000 people are expected to join in the project’s first phase, with a USD 20,000 membership fee paid by each. It is anticipated that this project will give the CDA a contemporary facility in addition to a consistent source of income.
The PM emphasized the significance of the club surpassing the standards of current facilities, such the Gymkhana Club and Islamabad Club, during a briefing by senior CDA officials. He gave the CDA instructions to draft a thorough Project Concept (PC-1) so that the club’s services and infrastructure meet worldwide standards.
After the PM returns from his overseas commitments, the CDA will study a revised plan and soon decide on the project’s location. This project is seen as a crucial component of CDA’s plan to boost economic growth and improve the capital’s appeal.
