Islamabad, Feb 25: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday extended heartfelt greetings to the leadership and people of Kuwait as the nation marks its National Day and Liberation Day. Currently on a two-day visit to Azerbaijan, the prime minister conveyed his warm wishes to Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the government and people of Kuwait.

In his message, Shehbaz Sharif praised Kuwait’s resilience and determination, acknowledging the nation’s proud history and unwavering courage in safeguarding its sovereignty against foreign aggression. He reaffirmed the deep-rooted bilateral ties between Pakistan and Kuwait, highlighting their shared history, faith, and cultural connections that have strengthened their partnership over the years.

The prime minister emphasized the long-standing friendship between the two countries, noting that Pakistan and Kuwait have consistently supported each other through thick and thin. Expressing his commitment to enhancing cooperation, he stated, “I look forward to working closely with the leadership of Kuwait to elevate our relations to new heights, enhance mutually beneficial cooperation, and strive for regional peace and prosperity.”

With both nations actively engaged in economic, trade, and diplomatic collaborations, Shehbaz Sharif’s message underscores Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening its strategic and economic ties with Kuwait.
