Islamabad, Oct 30: PM Meets Vietnamese Counterpart, Proposes Exchange of Trade and Business Delegations. In a meeting with his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Minh Chinh on Wednesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the two nations’ enormous potential for further trade and investment cooperation while expressing Pakistan’s wish to strengthen its ties with Vietnam.
The two leaders talked about measures to improve bilateral ties, especially in trade and investment, during their meeting on the fringes of the 8th Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference here.
To further investigate these prospects, Prime Minister Shehbaz suggested that business delegations and trade representatives be sent back and forth between the two nations.The two presidents reiterated their dedication to fostering travel between the two nations and enhancing interpersonal relationships.
Prime Minister Shehbaz acknowledged Vietnam’s contribution to the ASEAN area while urging support for Pakistan’s aspirations to join ASEAN as a full dialogue partner. Additionally, he invited the prime minister of Vietnam to visit Pakistan on official business.
