Islamabad, Nov 9: PM Reaffirms Government’s Strong Support for State Media to Strengthen National Narrative. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the government’s dedication to bolstering the state media system on Saturday, highlighting its vital role in fostering national cohesion and informing citizens about significant government efforts.
A group of probationary officers from the 51st Common Training Programme of the Information Service of Pakistan, who had just finished their specialized training and were getting ready to assume their respective roles, met with the prime minister at his office.
The prime minister warmly greeted the officers, recognizing the essential function that information officers serve in connecting the government with the public, promoting transparency, and building trust.
He underlined the necessity of effective communication, especially amid today’s swiftly changing media environment, and urged the officers to undertake their duties with honesty, professionalism, and a strong dedication to public service.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, along with Federal Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Ambreen Jan, were also in attendance, as stated in a press release from the PM Office Media Wing.
The prime minister further motivated the probationary officers to leverage modern communication tools proactively for meaningful public engagement.The officers provided feedback on their training and experiences, sharing their enthusiasm to contribute to the nation’s advancement and development.
