Islamabad, Sep 14: PM Shehbaz Announces E-bikes for Students
In Islamabad, he presided over a conference and gave instructions to submit a thorough financial model and enhance the country’s licensing laws pertaining to the production of electric vehicles.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that the government is giving electric car promotion top priority in the nation, pointing out that these cars will not only be environmentally benign but also save significant foreign cash by reducing the need to import gasoline and diesel.
The Prime Minister declared that exceptional students at government schools will receive E-motorbikes in the same manner as the laptop program.
Shehbaz Sharif gave the Capital Development Authority instructions to create a detailed plan for Islamabad’s electric-powered public transportation system.
The gathering was informed that, as of 2022, twenty-five manufacturers have begun producing two- and three-wheeled electric cars, and that forty-nine permits have been granted for their production at the local level.
