PM Sharif to attend emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha tomorrow on special invitation from Qatar. The summit, co-hosted by Pakistan, comes amid rising tensions following Israel’s recent airstrikes and the worsening situation in Palestine.

The Israeli occupation of Gaza, expansion of settlements in the West Bank, and forced displacement of Palestinians have escalated regional concerns. Leaders and senior officials from OIC member states are expected to participate in this critical gathering.

Ahead of the summit, a preparatory meeting of Foreign Ministers will take place on 14 September 2025. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, will represent the country in this session, highlighting Pakistan’s active diplomatic role.

The Foreign Office has emphasized that Pakistan places great value on its strategic relationship with Qatar. Islamabad has strongly condemned Israeli aggression in the region and reaffirmed its support for Qatar’s sovereignty and security
