Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in the United Arab Emirates on a one-day visit On Thursday, Since joining office earlier this year, this is his first trip to the United Arab Emirates.
He said that “I’m on a short but important visit in the United Arab Emirates. Soon after his arrival, he tweeted, “Looking forward to a fruitful exchange of views with the UAE leadership with a view to deepen the historic and brotherly PAK-UAE ties.”
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the deputy prime minister and vice president of the UAE, welcomed him. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the president of the United Arab Emirates, will meet with Shehbaz to talk about bilateral relations, specifically commerce and investment. The heads of financial institutions, businesses, and other officials are expected to meet with the PM as well.
The meetings aimed for getting updates on previous investment discussions and to look for more funding in different industries.The financial issues facing the South Asian nation and the outstanding PTCL payment will probably be covered as well.
