Islamabad, Aug 12: In order to assist in transforming the country into a prosperous, developed nation, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif promised on Monday to provide the youth of the country with an abundance of resources.
Speaking at an International Day of Youth celebration hosted by the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, the premier declared that one million cellphones will be awarded by the government to students who excel this year. The federal government would present the smartphones to the kids, according to the premier.
“If given access to modern education and resources, the country’s youth have the potential to elevate the nation to new heights,” he continued. He outlined his plan to provide gifted young people with access to contemporary education, artificial intelligence, and information technology in order to ignite a national revolution akin to that which has been witnessed in China.
Shehbaz Sharif also bemoaned the fact that the nation is still severely indebted despite having an abundance of resources and 77 years of freedom. He pointed out that while the nation’s top class enjoys considerable privileges, many live in terrible poverty and are unable to meet basic demands like arranging for their daughters to marry.
The prime minister also declared that he will personally pay for the education of 1,000 Chinese graduates in agriculture, hoping to provide them with cutting-edge tools to increase agricultural output. Additionally, Huawei has promised to send 200,000 young people for advanced IT training and education.
He continued, saying that on August 14 he will present the nation’s overall development plan. The PM Green Youth Movement, the Digital Learning Portal, the AI for Youth Program, which provides young people with Intel-certified skills, and the Commonwealth Youth Alliance Secretariat in Islamabad were among the major initiatives that the prime minister formally unveiled at the start of the event.
