Islamabad, Mar 15, 2025: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is preparing for an official three-day visit to Saudi Arabia next week, accompanied by a distinguished delegation comprising the Deputy Prime Minister, prominent federal ministers, and senior government officials, according to sources cited by ARY News.
During his stay, PM Shehbaz is expected to engage in high-level discussions with Saudi leadership to explore avenues for expanding trade and economic ties, attracting investments, and fortifying diplomatic relations. A crucial meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is also on the agenda.
The Pakistani delegation will reaffirm its unwavering commitment to Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and regional security.
Additionally, deliberations will cover potential Saudi investments across multiple sectors and address the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
The primary objective of this visit is to reinforce the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing mutual cooperation and regional harmony.

Previously, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia reached an agreement to establish a joint committee aimed at fostering collaboration in the production of music, films, and documentaries.
This consensus was achieved during a meeting between Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage, and Culture, Attaullah Tarar, and Saudi Media Minister Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari on the sidelines of the Saudi Media Forum.
Both nations also agreed to enhance cooperation in media-related domains, particularly through exchange programs and specialized training initiatives for journalists.
