Islamabad, JULY24: Islamabad: Orchard View for Overseas Pakistanis, a new residential development, has received approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
This development, which is located near the banks of the Korang River, promises to provide cutting-edge amenities. The authorized project will have three thousand villas and opulent flats equipped with the newest conveniences. The project, which extends from Islamabad Club to Margalla Town Phase II, has received 1,400 kanals of land from the Capital Development Authority (CDA). Pakistanis living abroad will be able to purchase these houses at a reduced cost; payments will be accepted in dollars in order to increase the nation’s foreign exchange reserves.
In addition, PKR 180 billion in profit is anticipated for the CDA from the project, which will be carried out as a joint venture with no financial risk to the CDA. This project, which will involve bringing in special technology plants to improve and purify the Korang River, converting it into a picturesque canal, and keeping it from becoming a sewer as a result of encroachment and neglect, is anticipated to be finished in 18 to 24 months.
