Islamabad, May 30, 2025:  In a major step, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has introduced a digital licensing platform for registering medical and dental colleges in Punjab.

This new initiative is aimed at making the registration process simpler and quicker for fresh graduates as well as practicing medical and dental professionals, including specialists. It ensures a secure and transparent method that reduces delays, eliminates unnecessary obstacles, and improves access to services.

One of the most significant aspects of this development is that doctors from Punjab will no longer need to travel to the PMDC head office in Islamabad for registration issues, saving them both time and energy.

Those who face difficulties in filling out application forms through the online portal will be guided and assisted by trained staff present at the Lahore center.

Applicants can now visit the PMDC Lahore Regional Office to get their registration applications processed and receive help in resolving related queries.
