The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has instructed universities to conduct a mandatory pre-hoc analysis of the MDCAT 2025 examination papers.
According to details, the MDCAT 2025 exam is scheduled for October 26, with 140,125 candidates registered to appear. Across the country, 35 examination centers have been established, along with an international center in Riyadh. The exam will be administered by universities, while PMDC will not directly conduct it.
The council has provided universities with the exam policy and structure. All participating universities have been granted access to the National Item Bank, and they are required to adhere to PMDC standards during paper setting, development, and printing.
Universities have been directed to perform a pre-hoc analysis to remove any questions outside the prescribed syllabus, while maintaining strict confidentiality of the papers.
