Islamabad, Aug 1, 2025: Dr. Shaista Faisal, Director (Medical/SPS-11), who was serving as the Acting Registrar of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC), has been immediately relieved from her acting charge of Registrar (SPS-12).
According to an official notification issued today, Dr. Shaista Faisal has been removed from the post with immediate effect. The council has also directed her to report to the HR Department for further orders.

The decision comes amid internal administrative restructuring, and no official reason has been publicly disclosed regarding the abrupt change.
