Islamabad, July 30, 2025: The tech world is abuzz as the Poco X8 Pro has reportedly received certification, signaling that Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco is gearing up for its next big release. Just months after the launch of the Poco X7 series in January, the next-generation model may be closer than expected.
Certification Spotted Ahead of Official Launch
A device with the model number 2511FPC34G has recently surfaced in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certification database. This model is strongly believed to be the upcoming Poco X8 Pro.
Adding more weight to this speculation, the same number was previously identified in an IMEI database, pointing to the X8 Pro as a global rebrand of the Redmi Turbo 5, which will remain exclusive to the Chinese market under the code 2511FRT34C.
Expected Specs of Poco X8 Pro
Though Poco has not officially unveiled the device, leaks suggest that the Poco X8 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, promising robust performance for gaming and multitasking. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution, delivering vibrant visuals and deep contrast levels.
The Poco X8 Pro may also flaunt a premium metal frame, giving it a durable yet lightweight build, likely maintaining Poco’s tradition of combining power with a sleek design.
Possible Launch Timeline
While Xiaomi has not confirmed a release date, the early certification hints at a potentially faster launch cycle than usual. If the leaks prove accurate, the Poco X8 Pro could arrive before the end of 2025, less than a year after the X7 series, reflecting Poco’s aggressive strategy in the competitive mid-range segment.
