Islamabad, April 10: At the invitation of President Aleksandr Lukashenko, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will undertake an official visit to the Republic of Belarus from April 10 to 11, 2025.
This visit comes as a follow-up to the significant bilateral momentum generated by President Lukashenko’s visit to Pakistan in November 2024.
During his stay in Minsk, Prime Minister Sharif will hold detailed discussions with President Lukashenko, focusing on evaluating progress across a range of areas of shared interest.
Over the past six months, bilateral engagement between Pakistan and Belarus has deepened considerably.
Notable developments include the convening of the 8th Session of the Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) in February 2025 and a subsequent visit to Belarus by a senior-level, multi-ministerial delegation in April 2025.
These initiatives have paved the way for constructive dialogue and outcomes during the Prime Minister’s visit.
Both nations are expected to sign multiple agreements aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
